Mulberry Health Clinic
In coordination with UnityPoint Health - Trinity Muscatine and the Muscatine Health Support Fund, the Community Foundation is leading a $20 million project to build a new three floor, 42,000 square-foot health clinic facility that is owned by the Community Foundation, operated by UnityPoint Clinic and connected to the UnityPoint Health - Trinity Muscatine Hospital.

Maintain a safe facility for health care professionals to practice and patients to receive their care.
Improve the ability to recruit and retain health care professionals to our rural community.

The new Mulberry Health Clinic is getting its finishing touches!
Medical equipment and furniture are being delivered, while the final door hardware, lights, and glass are being installed. The exterior envelope of the building is finished, and the parking lot and sidewalk are being paved. Landscaping will also be starting soon.

Construction is on schedule and UnityPoint Clinic is expected to start operating out of the new facility in October.​

The new facility will include 71 exam rooms, 5 treatment rooms, 6 patient intake rooms, 25 provider offices, administrative offices, conference room, and a diabetic education room.

More than $14 million in philanthropic funds have been pledged and donated to the project. Fundraising efforts continue to offset the $20 million building project.
